About this domain
This page exists so that anyone arriving from an old link knows exactly what they have found, and what they have not.
What this site is
An independent technical reference on foam concrete and cellular lightweight concrete, written for engineers, contractors and students. It publishes explanatory material on production, mix design, foaming agents, equipment, applications and standards, with sources given for the figures it quotes.
It is not a company website. It sells nothing, offers no products or services, represents no manufacturer, and carries no advertising. Where a commercial product family is named, it is named descriptively, to identify what is being discussed.
What was here before
The domain has had three distinct lives.
| Period | What was published here |
|---|---|
| until 2022 | The website of Luca Industries International GmbH, a Berlin company supplying foam concrete and cellular lightweight concrete technology — aerated concrete systems, foaming agents and additives, foam generators, and semi- and fully automatic production plants — marketed under the LithoPore and LithoFoam names. The site was published in English, German and Spanish. |
| 2023 to mid-2024 | After the domain changed hands, several hundred pages of unrelated multilingual content on pets, houseplants and aquariums were published on it. None of that content had any connection to the original company or to foam concrete. |
| mid-2024 to 2026 | The domain was dropped and resolved to nothing. |
| from September 2026 | Registered by the present operator and rebuilt as the independent technical reference you are reading. |
Every URL from the 2023 to 2024 period returns HTTP 410 Gone, which tells search
engines that those addresses have been permanently withdrawn.
Statement on affiliation and trademarks
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by Luca Industries International GmbH. It is not a successor to that company, does not act on its behalf, and does not represent its products.
LithoPore and LithoFoam are trademarks of their respective owners. They appear on this site only where necessary to identify the products they name, or to explain the history of an address. No claim to those marks is made or implied.
No text, image, diagram or document from the former website is reproduced here. All content on this site is original and written for it.
If you are looking for Luca Industries International GmbH itself, this is not it, and this site cannot forward enquiries. Company details are a matter of public record in the German commercial register.
Why the old addresses still work
A number of external references — including encyclopaedic and academic citations dating from 2015 and 2016 — still point at specific addresses on this domain. Those citations were made in good faith to a source that then disappeared.
Rather than let them resolve to nothing, the original address structure has been preserved, and each address now leads to independent technical material on the same subject the citing source referred to. In particular:
/now presents an overview of foam concrete production, including the setting and curing times that external sources cite this domain for./en/lithofoam-additives/now presents an independent, vendor-neutral treatment of foaming agents, including the distinction between hydrolysed animal protein, synthetic surfactant and biotechnological protein agents.
Addresses from the former site that have no direct equivalent redirect to the nearest matching topic. None of this involves reproducing the former content, and none of it implies any connection to the former operator.
How this site handles sources
Numerical claims are either sourced to the peer-reviewed literature listed on the research page, or presented explicitly as indicative ranges to be confirmed by trial mix. Where a claim originates in manufacturers' technical literature rather than independent research — as with the performance of biotechnological foaming agents — that is stated on the page where the claim appears.
