This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party content and tracks nobody. What remains is the technical minimum that any web server must process in order to answer a request.

Hosting and server logs
This site is a set of static files hosted on the infrastructure of Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA), which also operates infrastructure within the European Union.
As with any web server, the host processes technical data transmitted automatically by your browser in order to deliver the page and to maintain security and stability:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of the request
- The address requested and the HTTP status returned
- Volume of data transferred
- Referring address, where your browser sends one
- Browser and operating system identification string
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the technically error-free delivery and the security of the website. This data is not combined with other sources, is not used to build profiles, and is not used to identify individual visitors. It is retained by the hosting provider for a short period for operational and security purposes and then deleted or aggregated.
Because Vercel Inc. is established in the United States, a transfer of this technical data outside the European Economic Area may occur. Such transfers are covered by the data processing agreement concluded with the provider and by the appropriate safeguards it offers, including EU standard contractual clauses.
Cookies, analytics and third-party content
This website sets no cookies and uses no comparable storage technologies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
No web analytics, measurement, heat-mapping or advertising service is used. There are no tracking pixels and no social media buttons.
All resources — stylesheets, images, icons — are served from this domain. No external font service, script CDN or media embed is loaded, so no third party receives your IP address as a result of visiting a page here.
The site does contain ordinary hyperlinks to external websites, principally journal articles and standards bodies. Following such a link takes you to a site with its own privacy practices, over which this site has no control.

If you write to contact@luca-industries.com, your email address and the content of your message are processed for the sole purpose of handling your enquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the message concerns a pre-contractual or contractual matter, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest being the handling of enquiries addressed to the site.
Correspondence is deleted once the matter is concluded and no statutory retention obligation applies. Your message is not passed to third parties and is not used for any other purpose.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning you is processed, and access to it (Art. 15)
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
- have data erased (Art. 17)
- have processing restricted (Art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77), in particular in the Member State of your residence or place of work

Note that, since this site sets no cookies and holds no accounts, in practice the only personal data connected with an ordinary visit is the technical log data described above, held by the hosting provider.
